Johnny Mercer

The Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project is a weeklong intensive inviting 12 songwriters out of hundreds per year to spend a week in residence at Northwestern working with award-winning master teachers. The program honors the legacy of Johnny Mercer by fostering the tradition of mentorship that Johnny was committed to throughout his career. 

Master teachers I worked with included Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana), and Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato, Julia Michaels).
