Hard Things

After hearing several stories of my fans’ personal experiences with mental health, I started a social media campaign where people hold up signs saying the hard things they’ve overcome. Thousands of people told their stories, and we even got it trending on Twitter.

It is the 3rd of several music videos I’ve made including my fans, all of which collectively have been viewed over 14,500,000 times.

Dance in Color, a non-profit which gives performing arts scholarships to children of color in need, found the song and now uses it as their theme song at benefit concerts.
